Frequently asked questions
What makes the Naturally Organic Hudson Latex Mattress different from other latex beds?
It uses a two-layer latex construction with 5 inches of organic GOLS-certified Dunlop latex for a firm core and a 3-inch top layer of medium organic Dunlop latex for pressure relief, wrapped in GOTS-certified organic cotton with an organic wool quilt. The latex is naturally dust-m mite resistant, anti-bacterial, and insect-repellent.
What are the dimensions or fit for this mattress?
The mattress features an eight-inch profile with a firm core plus a top layer, designed to fit standard foundation or bed frames compatible with an eight-inch mattress.
How should I set up or use this mattress for best support?
Unpack and place on a suitable foundation or bed frame, then give it time to acclimate. The layered design provides body-conforming support and cooler, drier sleep due to the natural properties of the latex and wool quilt.
Who is this mattress best suited for?
It suits sleepers seeking a natural, organic latex mattress with a firm core and a pressure-relieving top layer, wrapped in organic cotton and wool for softness and flame resistance.
What care or maintenance does this mattress require?
Keep the surface clean and dry; the latex has natural dust-mite resistance. Regularly rotate to promote even wear, and use breathable bedding to complement its temperature-regulating properties.
How does this mattress fit with other organic latex or bedding products?
It aligns with other natural latex and organic bedding options, sharing GOLS-certified latex and GOTS-certified cotton, which helps maintain a cohesive organic sleep setup.
